Pain point is nothing but a particular inconvenience that the prospective customer experiencing from your business. The first step in a business is knowing the customers pain points so as to provide them with the best products or service they want.

The objective here is very clear that is to provide relief to the pain of the customers. Unless you know the nature of the customer challenges you cannot achieve customer satisfaction.

The responsibility of the business is to find what makes your customers uneasy, furious, terrified, or cumbersome, cleared out, and what constantly keeps them up late around night time when others are resting.


Giving off base data
The business may be large or small, the customers may call you or may meet you anytime in order to clarify their queries. If the information provided is inaccurate or not up to the customer’s expectation, it may create a bad impression.
Don’t consider the time you spend for your own clarification of the customer queries, provide the correct information in spite of the time spend.

Making customers wait on hold
It is necessary to provide the customers, their accurate needs at the same time they should not think that their time is wasted as they are made to wait.
The customers always wish to have a quick response. Beware of the time you spend to make them wait online. The solution for this is to make them come back or call back after sometime so that their time will not be wasted.

Not paying attention to customers
The people who are doing business or the market people must be good listeners and must have good grasping knowledge. The customers should not be asked to repeat their queries again and again as they may be irritated due to this. This may be overcome by automating the process, like the customers may be provided with online forms to fill about the information needed.

Being impolite
Being rude is what customers never tolerate. In this kind of situation patience is the quality that a business or sales person should have. If it is a large scale business the people hired for sales should be analyzed with this virtue, and must be trained effectively to handle such stage.

Knowing the core customer is very essential for a business. Hence take time to know your customers for the furtherance of the business.
