Japan to train Indian youths

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HE Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe have joined hands to help accelerate the “Make in India” revolution through the "Technical Intern Training Program’ an initiative aimed at providing an opportunity for Indian youth to train in high precision manufacturing as interns in Japan.

The programme is part of the agreement signed between India and Japan during the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister to India in December 2015.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with a Japanese Receiving Organisation has been nominated as a Sending Organisation by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for mobilising and training the youth in Japanese language and work ethics.
