India-Poland agriculture pact gets Cabinet Nod


The government approved signing of an agreement between India and Poland for cooperation in the agriculture and allied sectors.

The approval was given at the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an official statement said.

A joint working group(JWG) will be constituted to prepare plans for cooperation and it will also suggest solutions to the problems in implementing the agreement.

The agreement covers various activities in the field of agriculture and allied sectors including exchange of information on the current situation in the agriculture
