Pankaj R Patel, President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry said that FICCI welcomes the announcement of Ministry of Coal regarding the introduction of commercial coal mining. He said that it would boost technology-aided private investments in coal sector.
FICCI sees it as a positive policy direction towards development of a market-based economy that will be supporting the growth of industrial sectors dependent on coal as fuel said Patel.
