CII signs MoUs with top tech firms

The Confederation of Indian Industry has signed several MoUs with top tech firms at the National Summit on MSMEs.


The CII organized the summit as part of the 22nd edition of the International Engineering and Technology Fair to leverage technological and engineering excellence to enhance the growth and productivity of the Indian MSMEs. CII exchanged MoUs with the technical partners of CII TFC, which include leading technological companies like Microsoft, Vodafone, Secure Meter, Tally Solutions and ePaisa to build synergies and work in collaboration for the technological upgrading of Indian MSMEs. CII-TFC partners made detailed presentations to share their various low cost and affordable access initiatives and breakthrough solutions to promote the technological upgradation of Indian MSMEs.

Recognizing the importance of technological access and upgrading for boosting the growth of Indian MSMEs, the CII has launched the CII-Technology Facilitation Centre. In partnership with its technical partners, the Centre will work towards expanding the access to technology for Indian MSMEs as well as creating technical literacy through roadshows and webinars. Speaking at the Summit, Haribhai Parthabhai Chaudhary, Minister of State for MSMEs, stated that Indian MSMEs manufacturing excellence and quality upgradation are imperative for MSMEs aspiring to attain global competitiveness.
